This X Link above, reposted by the founder and Chief Investment Officer (CIO) of Bison Interests, a Houston-based investment firm focused on publicly traded oil and gas equities, shows a video of smoke after strikes that started 7 hours ago, the video above is allegedly the aftermath of those fires that failed to have been contained and are spreading into the night.

Fires and smoke plumes have been reported at major energy facilities connected to the Ghawar oil field in Saudi Arabia following alleged Houthi missile and drone strikes on October 10, 2026.

Ghawar is the world’s largest conventional oil field, with a maximum sustainable capacity of about 3.8 million barrels per day (per Aramco disclosures). It represents roughly one-third of Saudi Arabia’s total oil output and a foundational share of global supply.

Shedgum Gas Plant: Reports and satellite thermal data indicated a extreme fire and massive smoke plumes following a reported ballistic missile strike at coordinates 25°38'53.37"N 49°23'32.51"E, with thermal radiation peaking significantly above safe and normal levels into the evening.

Hawiyah Gas Plant: Satellite imagery and monitoring groups tonight documented smoke and potential thermal activity at this neighboring gas processing facility part of the Ghawar complex.

Both plants are vital infrastructure units for Saudi Aramco supporting the world's largest conventional oil field. As of the initial reports, official confirmation from Saudi authorities or Saudi Aramco regarding the extent of the damage or production halts is limited, while the incidents have triggered immediate concerns in global energy markets.

Disruption at these facilities risks immediate production constraints, forced emergency flaring, reduced oil recovery efficiency, and cascading effects on Saudi crude exports are especially dangerous amid ongoing regional attacks on pipelines, airports, and shipping routes.
